Location. The modern Hotel Elite in Mestre, Italy, is located four kilometres from Venice's historic centre and five kilometres from the Riviera Del Brenta. The town of Treviso is 12 kilometres from the hotel, and Padova is 25 kilometres away. It's nine kilometres to Venice Marco Polo Airport (VCE).
Hotel Features. Set in a six floor building, the contemporary Hotel Elite offers a 24 hour front desk and multilingual concierge staff. There is a television in the lobby, and the hotel has its own garden. Wireless Internet access is available throughout.
Cocktails and coffees are served in the hotel's lounge bar. There is a complimentary buffet breakfast in the light, spacious breakfast room. Room service is also available (surcharge).
The hotel has a business centre, and meeting rooms with audiovisual equipment.
There is a garden and a quiet reading room. Bicycle hire is available at the hotel, and guests receive discounts at a nearby fitness centre.
Guestrooms. The Hotel Elite's 85 air conditioned guestrooms are decorated with a blue and white colour scheme. Rooms have wireless and high speed Internet access, satellite television, minibars and safes. Bathrooms offer complimentary designer toiletries. Some rooms have balconies. There are some apartments and quadruple rooms with kitchenettes and lounge areas.
Expert Tip. The beach resort of Lido di Jesolo is 40 kilometres from Mestre. Buses to the Lido run from the airport and Venice Mestre train station.

From Venice Marco Polo Airport (VCE):
Distance to Hotel Elite is nine kilometres, approximately five minutes' drive.
Getting there. The Fly Bus runs directly to Mestre in about ten minutes. The number 15 bus also runs between the airport and Venice Mestre train station. Water taxis are also available to the hotel.
Getting around. The hotel is on Forte Marghera. Venice's city centre is best explored on foot or by public water buses (vaporetto). Three day passes for the public water bus cost 25 EUR and offer unlimited travel. Water taxis and gondolas are also available. Gondola ferries (traghetti) cross the Grand Canal and the fare is 50 cents. Secure parking is available at the hotel or drivers can leave their cars at Piazzale Rome, Venice's main entry point. There is secure parking on site.
